Magical and beautiful

— items from around

the globe and from here,

in Woodstock, New York —

handmade, repurposed, and locally made goods for the home, body, and spirit.

Timbuktu‘s owner, Jaime Surgil, with a background in American contemporary art, blends a curator‘s eye with her interior design experience, to fill her shop with a unique selection of rugs, pottery, fine art, jewelry, textiles, and organic bath and beauty products, and more.

In addition to the many artisans represented at Timbuktu, Jaime‘s handmade jewelry is another unique feature. Her inspirations are derived from years of sourcing local and global crafts, while her esthetics are rooted in African and Indian cultures, as well as her dedicated yoga practice. Jaime believes that jewelry lends both a spiritual and earthly aura to the wearer, often mediating between the two. “I wear jewelry to be seen and to feel it’s intrinsic vibration.”

We welcome you to Timbuktu and look forward to meeting you at the shop!
